about the Hutto Family

Rev. H. Craig Hutto comes to Trinity with 29 years of pastoral ministry. He has served the Waynesboro-Friendship Charge, Douglas First UMC, Claxton First UMC, Adel UMC, Valdosta First UMC as Associate, Omega UMC, and the Sumner Charge. Craig currently serves on the Conference Personnel Committee and is a member of the Wesley Glen Board of Trustees.


Craig served as Conference Secretary from 2010 to 2015. He has also served as a Trustee for the Methodist Home for Children and Youth and as Registrar for the Conference Board on Ordained Ministry. Craig has been a member of several civic organizations such as the Rotary Club and Lion’s Club.


Craig is a graduate of Emory College and Candler School of Theology of Emory University. He is married to Mary Louise, who grew up in Macon, attended the Trinity UMC Preschool, and has taught at Pinewood Academy, Citizen’s Academy, and Edmund Burke Academy. They have two grown children, Elizabeth Hutto Brown, who is a pharmacist and married to Jordan Brown, a special education teacher, and Jonathan Hutto, who works for Service.Com. Craig and Mary Louise have three grandsons: Jackson, Marty, and Liam.
